Hey Coop,
I am back in town; although I am a bit tired I will be there for both. I plan to fish the narrows just off Lowes Point.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Tight lines
If anyone is going to try live-lining, what size hook are you going to use? I've got some 4/0 circle hooks that I used for cut bait catfishing when I was stationed here before, will those be good for this?
Most of the live lining has been on the north side.Just be careful out there cause iam sure the boaters will be there.
Well it looks like the winds are out SE 6 mph.Just hope it just stays the same on Sat.I will stay around the launch if there any questions. By seven I will be launching.
Unfortunately, I can no longer make it on Saturday. Looking forward to the reports!
My plans have changed again, so I'll be there. I'll plan on going to lunch, but if I'm too late with the RSVP, I'll just continue fishing. Either one works for me.
For my first time of hosting a Meet& Greet Snaggedline Line is rocking.LOL.With this many of a group if it is possible i would like to take a picture of all of us in front of poplar island.Maybe when ca get this before we just get ready to go in for lunch.
I've never been to this area, so I've only looked at the maps online...how far is Poplar Island from the launch? It looks like 3 miles from what I've seen...that's a long way across open water for my limited kayaking experience on the bay.
