I plan on going fishing and for lunch. Camping sounds like a great idea if people want to get together and fish friday.

Time to bump this thread back up since we're getting closer to the 14th.

So far, it looks we have about a dozen that are in for either fishing and/or lunch:
                myself
                RavensDefense
                Abu Masgouf
                Moc
                Muldoon
                Coop1486
                Surfdog
                Wschrack
                Frogsauce (and guest?)
                Sun
                Pig Pen
                Klevar1

The Hide Away Grill is now open for the season and looking forward to having us. I asked about using their dock for tying up during lunch, that way those wishing to head back out fishing after lunch could avoid loading and unloading unnecessarily, and they said it shouldn't be an issue.

I'll update the list if others decide to join.

I would love to join you guys. Is anyone going to be camping at Jane's Island on that Friday?

I plan on camping Friday night and my kitchen pass expires sat night. I'm aiming to take Friday off so I can fish there as well.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. I'm taking leave Mon-Fri that week, so I can fish as much as the weather allows.

Looking forward to it. I am still in for both, might stick around after lunch and fish more. Let me know if anyone is coming from Gaithersburg area, we could ride together.

I've gone out in the area twice now this spring, this past Sunday and the Sunday before, looking to see if any specks have shown up yet. I'll preface by saying that last year, and the year before, I didn't start fishing for them until roughly the second week in June and the fish were there already, so I'm hoping I was just a little early in my attempts this year, but both trips haven't yielded a speck. Plenty of bass in the 13" - 16" range and a handful over 18", with biggest just shy of 28".

I've heard of a some caught in the area, but not lights out yet. Hopefully we just need a week or two and they'll be there thick... only one way to find out!

I haven't been to a M&G for a long time. I've only made two of them but had fun at both. I'm gonna try to make this one. I'm still only 4 weeks out from major knee surgery and presently am not mobile enough. Hopefully in two weeks I'll be doing better and the incision will be completely healed. If I make it, I'll be doing lunch too.
