It'll be a little rough, but doable. NOAA is calling for 1-2 ft as of now. If it's a N wind like they're calling for, guys can fish the South side of the points and be protected. The more west that gets into it, the rougher it'll be. It is supposed to die down in the afternoon, at least.___________________________

I was really hoping to make this, but with questionable weather, I'll be staying closer to home.
Fishing with Cowkid2 is dedicated Saturdays...gotta make sure it's reasonable for her to get on the water.Hobie fleet:

The crabs weren't huge but they were full of meat and delicious. If the weather stinks at least you can gorge on crabs!

I know a few have pm'd to say that the winds, coupled with the travel distance, would keep them home now. I'd be willing to push it back to Sunday but I know I'm working and won't be around and it's also Father's Day. Thoughts everyone?Brian

I plan on being there on Saturday for fishing and lunch. I believe SurfDog, Coop1486, and Kitkatyaker are planning on being there also. I plan on fishing both Sat morning, and maybe the afternoon into for some night fishing. The winds should die down to 6mph in the late evening. In the morning it seems to go from 8mph to 12 mph by 8am. It starts to drop after 2 or 3pm. So it begins to drop after lunch. Since I am staying at a motel in the area, I will fish Sunday morning since the winds for Sunday seems to be 4 to 7mph all day.
Another idea when we get to Rumbley, if we do not like the water, I guess there are other bodies or water nearby that might offer some protection as a backup?
Besides my plastics, I will have some shrimp and bloodworms for bait.

Is this correct Slobber Bob?
I think I put this in the first post but worth repeating. Turn off of Rt. 13 onto Rt. 413 (Crisfield Hwy). Turn right onto Rt. 361 (Fairmount Rd - roughly a quarter mile or so past the Shell station). Continue on Fairmount Rd for several miles. Eventually, Fairmount road will turn into Rumbley rd. by a hard 90* right turn next to a defunct corner store. Once you get right outside the small town there is a wooden "Rumbley" sign at a Y-split. Stay left and follow to the end. Launch and restaurant are right next to each other.
If your using a GPS just put the destination as Goose Creek Marina, Rumbley Rd, Westover.
The list of still confirmed coming or trying to make it are:
Myself, Ravens defense, moc, muldoon, Coop1486, Surfdog, wschrack, Pig Pen, Klevar1, ShawnL (?), dhawk, Big Grizzly (?), eastcoastrelaxin, milfoil, kitkatyaker, and mullet miller(?).Brian

I was going to pm this to all attending but I couldn't do a group one because apparently you can only sent to 5 people at time...
Feel free to contact me at (215) three, five, zero - 7940 if you need anything, decide to launch elsewhere, need suggestions on alternate locations if the wind is too much, etc..
Otherwise, see you around 6:30 - 7 and we'll have lunch around 12:30 at the Hide Away Grill!

I am bringing my son along to fish, so count me as two, we each have a kayak. I understand the wind concern. Does the cove (shirtpond) southeast of Jericho Marsh hold fish? It should be in the lee of that N wind. I dont know if that is too far to travel, which is why I am looking forward to this meet and greet. Always something to learn even on snotty days!Terry Frank
