Me either... But my wife has that odd notion that if I'm fishing I should be bringing home something to cook. I'm waiting to see when DNR does their early stocking of trout. I usually don't get any complaints when I come home with a limit of them.

Not sure about DNR but I wouldn't eat anything over 18 inches out of that area. To be honest I don't eat anything from that area. That's just me though.

What's the DNR recommendations for consumption for blues out of this water?

The north side of the bridge is DC waters. So I keep mine up to date. I haven't been checked at the Wilson by DC but VA DNR has ckecked me a few times.

Do I need a MD license or will VA do?

Good question. Maryland or Virginia license covers the bridge South. To fish the north side of the bridge you need a DC license. It is only $13.00 online for the year.
