I only had to do this twice. I once buried the hook of a tony in the back of my head. You put a length of string or fishing line around the bend of the hook, push down on the shank of the hook and give the string a yank. The hook comes right out.

That does not sound like fun at all... effective, but not fun

I saw a video a guy put together; he sunk a hook in his thigh, and another one in the meaty part of his hand and used that method to get the hooks our. Dude must be a glutton for pain, but glad he did the video, might come in handy some day....hopefully not though.

Glad he's OK! You should have taken the picture when I was straddling his kayak with my legs while taking the treble off the lure! That must have been quite a sight! Haha
I felt so bad for him especially since it was his second time out. Lookin forward to seeing him out on the water again. [emoji4]
